Venture capital investments continue to show an upward trend

Venture capital investment in the Indian startup ecosystem continued its upward trend during the third week of September. Indian startups have attracted an investment of over $ 500 million with two platforms Apna and Mobile Premier League joining the coveted Unicorn Club. No less than 24 startups have raised $ 425 million in funding compared to last week’s $ 315 million fundraiser.

Jaipur-based edtech startup tinker raised Rs 6.5 crore from Navneet Tech Ventures – a subsidiary of Navneet Education Ltd.

Fintech platform Paytail raised $ 1.5 million from Cholamandalam and other angel investors.

Healthcare tech startup Medpho pocketed $ 1 million in a funding round led by Cygnus Medicare Group and other angel investors.

NaughtyGud, a D2C food brand, raised $ 340,000 under the leadership of Titan Capital and angel investors.

D2C online brand Flat heads raised $ 1 million in pre-series A from We Founder Circle, Dexter Angels and others.

Healthtech platform Ayu Health pocketed $ 6.3 million from Vertex Ventures and Stellaris Venture Partners.

Starting home loans Easiloan picked up Rs 8 crore from Tomorrow Capital.
