AT $ 110 million, and 60% larger than its predecessor, BGV IV marks a new chapter for the global enterprise, which focuses on the intersection of enterprise 4.0 and cross-border innovation. With its growth, the company expands its presence in Europe. Given that of Patrick Nicolet extensive experience in establishing CapGemini’s presence outside of France, he brings strong leadership credentials and operational expertise, as well as a deep specialization in distributed computing, digital transformation and decentralized architectures.

“BGV’s technical orientation and cross-border philosophy correspond to my vision of the innovation landscape,” explains Nicolet. “My experience as CTO of CapGemini, then as an entrepreneur at Linebreak Capital, leads me to believe that Europe – and France in particular – is a land of excellence in innovation. I join BGV, alongside Sarah benhamou and Romain Lenoir, to work on sourcing and support for companies which, tomorrow, will deploy their activities across the Atlantic to become world leaders. “

Nicolet joins an investment team made up of six French experts, including the new Partner Romain Lenoir, recently graduated with an MBA from the Ecole Supérieure, and BGV Principal Sarah benhamou, which has spearheaded BGV’s investment efforts in France.

With the ability to execute consistently, Sai brings a wealth of knowledge in valuation, accounting, tax and venture capital operations.

“The recent additions to the core BGV team reflect the expansion of our platform in several dimensions,” explains Éric Benhamou, founder and president of BGV. “With Patrick who joined our investment team in Europe, we are considerably developing our ability to develop our portfolio companies born in Europe and ready to cross the Atlantic to become a true world leader in their category. We are also developing our capacity to involve European Limited Partners in the field and to attract them to our platform. With Sai’s arrival as CFO in Silicon Valley, we bring a seasoned executive with a proven ability to scale cross-border venture capital funds and meet the expectations of demanding LPs around the world. We are delighted to be able to attract talent of this caliber and to welcome these new additions to our team. “
