CyberCube and Kroll Launch New Cyber Incident Response Service for Customers

Cyber risk analysis provider CyberCube has launched CAERS, a new cyber incident response service for customers of the company’s SaaS products.

The Cyber Aggregation Event Response Service (CAERS) will see CyberCube partner with Kroll to provide CyberCube customers with information and advice on major cyber aggregation events. Kroll will provide frontline threat intelligence generated from the thousands of incident response cases it handles each year.

Following a major cyber event, the CAERS team will update CyberCube customers with the latest information while CyberCube’s SaaS products including Broker Manager, Account Manager and Portfolio Manager will help respond to any ongoing cyber disaster.

Darren Thomson, Head of Cyber Intelligence Services at CyberCube, said, “As cyber events become more common, the speed and accuracy with which organizations respond to them is critical. That’s why we launched this answering service, specifically tailored to CyberCube’s growing customer base. The pressure on our customers during a major cyberattack can be extreme. With CAERS, our team of data scientists, actuaries, engineers, economists and cybersecurity experts will become an extension of our clients’ teams, delivering the updates they need and sharing both our expertise and our data.

Benedetto Demonte, COO of Kroll’s Cyber Risk practice, said, “We are excited to contribute to CAERS because effective incident response depends on the latest and most relevant threat intelligence available. . In our latest Threat Landscape Report, we saw a 356% growth in the number of attacks quarter-over-quarter where the infection vector was a zero-day software exploit or newly announced. Ransomware groups were also found to be exploiting the newly announced vulnerabilities just days after they were released. Only with access to frontline intelligence can organizations prioritize resources, mitigate the risk of a cyberattack, and respond appropriately if the worst happens.

CyberCube’s products, including Portfolio Manager, Broking Manager and Account Manager, are designed for insurance intermediaries and risk carriers and are used by leading companies in the insurance ecosystem.
